Apple & Carrot Bircher Muesli

Ingredients

1 red apple, skin on, grated (use large grater)

1 small carrot, peeled and grated (use fine grater)

75 g (2.6 oz) rolled oats

250 ml (1 cup) Milk of your choice

15 g (0.5 oz) cranberries

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

2 heaped tsp mixed seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, chia, hemp or ground flax)

A pinch of salt

Method


Mix all the ingredients into an airtight container with a lid. Place in the fridge overnight. Keeps for several days.


Notes


This recipe can be made gluten and dairy free with GF oats and alternative milk of your choice. Almond, Oat, Soy or coconut milk. For low fructose, swap apple for passionfruit.
